Where can I find Cheap tickets or deals in Las Vegas?

i will be visiting Las Vegas this week. Anyone know where I can find cheap or last minute deals on shows, tours etc? Please help!

On the strip in Las Vegas there are a few 1/2 price ticket booths. I know there is one in the Coca Cola Bottle right next to M & M World and there is also one in the Hawaiian Marketplace (I believe both are in between MGM Grand and Planet Hollywood). You can find deep discounts on a lot of shows if you see one you are interested in. Last time we went, I actually saw a couple of Cirque shows on the board like KA and Zumanity.

Another option is to look at this website now to go ahead and book show tickets that are running specials http://smartervegas.com/shows.aspx

KA at MGM Grand is currently up to half off. You could find $165 tickets for $82.
Zumanity at New York-New York is 25% off right now.
Penn and Teller is 25% off

What’s the big deal about casinos in Vegas and how they treat you there anyway?

I’ve been to the riverboat casinos here in the Indiana/Illinois for 6 years and I bet the casino employees and managers in Las Vegas don’t treat their guests as good as the casino managers and employees here at these riverboats. I think the officals in Vegas probably always jeer and dislike them more because, afterall, no one likes tourists, whereas at these riverboats, it’s the same people, they know them, they’re familair with them, there’s not as many tourists. Besides, did you see that scene in “21″ where they take card-counting Ben Campbell to a backroom, tie him to a chair, and beat him up? How can you say they treat you guys as good as they treat the ones here at the riverboats? and did you see the movie “Casino” with Deniro and Pecsi? Get the picture? And what about ‘What happens in Vegas”? Remember how the judge threatens to make them not get any of the money? You still think they treat you good over there? And one casino manager on TV for “Cheaters Exposed” who looks like Bill gates says he wants cheaters to go out in handcuffs in front of everyone and go away for a long time, they also showed tapes of physcially tackling cheaters out of nowhere on “Cheaters Exposed” and also on that show, Las Vegas police officer Robin Antochi says it’s great arresting a cheater and putting them away for a long time, I don’t share the same enthusiasm as that bi#ch Robin Antochi does, I would not want to ruin someone’s life. When I got evicted a casino at a riverboat here for giving them strong, negative feedback, they never laid a hand on me, they didn’t tackle me(I’d press charges if they did), they talked to me and escorted me out to my car, not the same treatment in Vegas as far as what I’ve seen on TV.
Bottom line, I think casino managers and employees treat their guests better here at these riverboats up here than they do down there in Las Vegas because people get sick of tourists and like familiar state residents who they know, better.

i concur

Somehow I doubt casino security would be as rough and cruel to cheating guests here at the Indiana/Illinois riverboats as they are in Las Vegas. I think they'd be more professional than mean.

Sounds like you watch way too much TV. I have friends in Las Vegas and anytime I ask them about something they tell me I can find that in a certain casino. It’s like they have a casino in mind for every answer. I haven’t been to see my friends for a couple of years then when I went there were many casinos missing. They had blown them up and hauled them away. The buildings there are always changing it seems. Some people there have a certain way of talking that could be interpreted as unfriendly but they are really helpful if you ask for help.

Who's going to see the Spice Girls in Las Vegas?! I need tips on booking my trip!?

I got the email with my password yesterday and I was able to get tickets in the 100 level for the December 9th show. I'm so excited! Now I have to book hotel and flight. Anyone got any suggestions for where I can get the best deals? I've been looking in Expedia and Cheaptickets.com but I don't know if there are any better places to look. I'm hoping to stay in one of the better known hotels for a reasonable price.
I can fly out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Always shop around for deals. Use these tips to get a cheap flight and hotel http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.html . Also check priceline.com and name your own price. You might be lucky and get it. Have fun.

las vegas vacation?

For my day's 50th birthday me and my brother are getting him and my mom a trip to Vegas first question

WHICH HOTEL? I know there's so many hotels but Idk which one would be best their mid-forty + 50 and they like gambling but it's not huge + they like music stuff like that

second question
OUR THEIR ANY HOTEL + SHOW DEALS? my mom's going to want to see a show and I wanted to plan everything out

PLEASE HELP [:

If they've never been to Vegas, they'll probably be better off staying at a hotel in the center of The Strip.

My personal favorite is The Mirage (stayed there 3 times). Very nice hotel, great pool, price is above average, but not in the upper echelons.

Harrah's is right across the street from The Mirage. It's less expensive, but still pretty decent. It doesn't have all of the same amenities. The pool is nowhere near as nice as Mirage. (Stayed there 3 times also).

If you can spend more, you might want to consider Bellagio or Venetian. Both are very nice, and very expensive. I haven't actually stayed in either one, but I've walked through both.

Oher possibilities are Luxor and Mandalay Bay, but they are on the very south end of the Strip. They're not really convenient to anything else. I stayed at MB once. It's right across the street form the airport, so you hear the planes all the time.

Flamingo Hilton and New York New York are other possibilities.

Try to avoid Excalibur and Circus Circus. They tend to be overrun with kids.

Generally, you'll book the shows and the hotel separately. If there's a show they absoultely want to see, you should definitely book it ahead of time. The shows do sell out.

Beware of any deals that give a really cheap hotel rate and include show tickets. They will try to sell your parents a time share.

For a cheap experiance in Las Vegas, would Excalibur or Circus Circus be a better deal?

My family is planning a trip to Vegas at the beginning of August. There will be 4 adults, one teen, and one older teen. We are looking for cheap places to stay on the Strip that have theming, and we've narrowed it down to Circus Circus and Excalibur.

Circus circus has all the circus shows for free, plus the Adventuredome that's attached, but Excalibur is closer to the other hotels on the Strip. (we plan on visiting and walking around all the other casinos)

Your opinions?

If you plan to visit other casinos, I'd go with Excalibur. It's connected to Mandalay Bay and Luxor by monorail. There are also walkways to New York, MGM, and Tropicana. Circus Circus is very out of the way (at the far northern end of the Strip).

Both Excalibur and Circus Circus have below average rooms and lousy food. But, this is Las Vegas… you get what you pay for.

Although both CIrcus Circus and Excalibur have solid attractions for younger children, Excalibur is better suited for teens because of the prime location. Luxor's IMAX motion simulators, the giant Gameworks arcade, and New York's excellent roller coaster are nearby. Adventuredome is actually far more low-key than they let on. You won't be missing much.

Tickets for shows in Las Vegas?

Is is best to buy tickets on websites in advance or are the deals better once your out in Vegas?

The tickets are cheapest to buy in vegas but, if you are planning to take in a high end show from Cirque du Soleil and want good seats, you better book in advance. Usually the good seats sell out quick.

I am planning to celebrate my 30th b-day with a trip to las vegas?

I am planning to celebrate my 30th b-day with a trip to las vegas with my friends. Can anyone tell me where (website) can I find out what music events, shows, activities will be taking place around de 26 - 29 of july 2007?? Also, I am looking for a good deal traveling from mexico city to las vegas, and a dreamy hotel room. Any suggestions?
Wow, thank you everyone for your suggestions and comments, I didnt expect them so fast and so nice.
And yesss!!! everyone is invited to come along!! 30 years old, omg, should be a big and fun celebration!!

I love vegas! I'm turning 30 in Nov…take me with you! lol
This site is super helpful:
http://www.vegas.com/
Tips: for food try to eat off the strip at buffets-everything on the strip is so expensive (but sooo good).
But a ticket for the Duce not a rental car or a cab. It is a double decker bus that your ticket is good for 24 hrs (5$)! The drivers are hilarious and friendly. You jump on and off at all the stops any time of the day or night. A cab will cost you 10$ at minimum and renting a car is an option but traffic is nuts and you will spend more time looking for parking than is worth it.
Go to the Playboy club one night. Their dance club-moon -rocks! It is 40$ cover but if you look good they let you in for free :) Ask around for free passes to clubs/events they can be costly without passes. walk with your girls and giggle and watch the free tickets come to you.
Never walk solo at night- it is not safe at all. And the city never sleeps so you can be out 24-7 drugs and drinking are everywhere so be street smart.
If you want free drinks any time of the day: Go into a casino and sit at a cheap maching and put in 1 dollar. Milk it…play slowly..wait..wait.. a waitress will come over and ask you if you want a drink. Order and it is free (minus a tip) so for 2$ a drink you can hop casinos and drink cheap all night before clubbing.
Visit old Vegas for gifts- they are dirt cheap- it is the last stop on the duce- go there your last day. The place is run down a bit, but you cannot beat the souvenier prices anywhere. Plus it is a cool older part of the strip.
Enjoy and be safe!!!!
