Can anyone recommend an extended stay motel in las vegas????
November 11th, 2008
I am moving to Las Vegas on June 22, and need to find a safe, clean, and relatively cheap extended stay (with kitchen or kitchenette) to stay in until I find a permenant apartment.
I am staying at various big hotels on the strip for two months (gotta love comps), but after that I need to find an extended stay motel. I don't want to sign a lease until I am sure I want to stay there.
Many people have told me to stay away from the motels by the stip due to crime and drugs.
Any suggestions? Some names I have read about are Sportsman Manor, Town and Country Manor, and Budget Suites.
Well, you've got a couple of choices:
Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center by Marriott

Emerald Suites South Las Vegas Blvd

Emerald Suites - Cameron

Not sure if they'll be in your price range, but each link has more info, pics & online rate check/booking.
Good luck!

The Plaza is a great, cheap place to stay, as low as $34.95 a night. Located 1 Main Street Reservation hotline: (800) 851-1703

I'm not sure of the name of it (sorry, I know, not a lot of help there) but it's right across the street from Sunrise Hospital. My grandma had a heartattack when we went to Vegas and the hospital recommended it because it was across the street and the rates were good. It's a nice, clean place as well.

Extended Stay America has 4 properties in Las Vegas. I have stayed at 2. I have stayed at the one Valley View Rd, which is near the Palms and the Rio. I have also stayed at the one out on Boulder Hwy.
Of the 4 properties, The one on Boulder is the least expensive.
